About Clifton House

Pedigree Beef Shorthorn Cattle View from Clifton House Garden

Clifton House lies within Wood Farm, a working farm which has been in our family for 25 years. It is divided in two by a narrow country lane called 'Coppice Lane' and currently covers approximately 40 acres of pastureland.

Over the past 5 years, we have been building up our own herd of Pedigree Beef Shorthorn Cattle, under the herd title of Holkin Pedigree Shorthorns. It is stocked with over 25 Pedigree Shorthorn Beef Cattle, which is a rare breed and one of the oldest British Breeds of Beef Cattle, easily identified by their distinctive colours of red, white or roan.

Also on the farm are several horses that compete regularly in eventing.

In the interests of your safety and of your pet, if you decide to bring one, Clifton House is surrounded by its own secure stock proof garden.
